We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Development Engineer who can build innovative and mission critical system software applications and tools. You will be responsible for delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools.

Responsibilities Include

- Ability to design and code right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. - Drive best practices and engineering excellence. - Work with other team members to develop the architecture and design of new and current systems. - Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.

Location

Location will be at the sole discretion of Amazon and can include (not an exhaustive list) - Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s/ Master's degree with >6.5 CGPA in Computer Science/Information Science Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education. - Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform) - Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithm - Experience with distributed systems, algorithms and relational databases - Excellent coding & problem solving skills - Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment - Ability to think about problem statement and build optimal solutions - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The platform offers an opportunity to students to interact and learn from the Amazon Tech leaders - get insights on what to expect during interviews and brush up their knowledge and understanding of the most frequent topics asked during interviews.

How does AmazeWoW work?

AmazeWoW offers a series of learning sessions to students to help them prepare for internships and job placements. The sessions will be facilitated by Amazon Tech leaders for registered students on a scheduled date and time.

Is Amazon offering both full-time and internship roles through AmazeWoW?

Yes, AmazeWoW is for candidates who are in their 2nd and 3rd year of engineering, providing both Internship as well as full-time opportunities.Students registered in AmazeWoW will be considered for the following:

Opportunity Semester when the role starts

2M Summer Internship 6th Semester/ Completion of 3rd year

6M Internship (Jan-June) 8th Semester/Final semester

FTE Internship 8th Semester/Final semester

FTE Post completion of course

What is the eligibility for internship/placement?

a) Applicant should be enrolled in a 4-year B.Tech/BE or 2-year M.Tech/ME program b) Specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics c) Year of graduation should be 2021 for full-time positions and six month internship (Jan-June 2021) d) Year of graduation should be 2022 for summer internship (May-June) positions e) CGPA should be 6.5/10 and above f) No backlogs in any year/semester of engineering

The portal is open from April 20th , 2020 till May 5th , 2020 for registrations.
